Positional BP: When taking blood pressure readings from various positions, normally, the blood pressures will be quite close after time has elapsed. If blood pressures are taken right after a position change, the following will be likely: typically the lying blood pressure will be the highest, followed by the sitting bp, and the standing will be the lowest. These differences are magnified in certain situations.
