Can people usually ask for the nutrition facts when they go to fast food restaurants when they ask for the menus?

Not so much: When going to "fast food" restaurants, people are often in too much of a hurry to ask about nutrition facts before buying and gobbling. More and more such restaurants are posting this information, though -- so you can look it up online before going. In some cases it's right on each item on the menu when you get there.
