On 8/22 i cut my left index finger real deep at work, needed stitches. it's mostly healed, but still in extreme pain when touched and the area is numb. gained mobility back finally. i have an ortho appt in a week. what could be going on in my finger?

Time: As a rule, it takes about 6 weeks for the wound to heal completely- longer if the area is often irritated as in the finger. Give it time and listen to your ortho.
