A few possible: If your test was done in a medical office, then a doctor might decide to repeat the same test. Diabetes (DM) is usually not diagnosed based on 1 test; it takes 2+ unless a person has symptoms of uncontrolled DM (e.g., unusual thirst or hunger, frequent urination, or blurred vision). A doctor may also choose to do an A1c test, which gives a sense of how high your sugar’s been the past 3 months.

A gp the last few months has ordered multiple blood tests due to having hypoglycemic episodes. It consistently shows an abnormal low glucagon level. Im non diabetic. Not aware of lows. Cant get in w/ an endocrinologist & shes not sure what to do?
