Yes but painful: Yes its possible. Especiall if you fell directly onto the front of the knee. You should notice atleast some swelling over the front of the knee, significant tenderness to touch over the knee cap, pain with bending the knee and some relief with straighthening the knee. You should see an orthopedist in the office to minimize the your expenses. An er visit is more coslty than a visit.

Kneecap Fracture: Generally it's very hard to walk with a kneecap fracture, although it's possible to have a small chip and still walk.
