Abdominal Pain: Hi there, thanks for writing in! When you have severe abdominal pain, it's usually best to be seen by a doctor in person. Abdominal pain, especially when it's sharp and as painful as you describe, could be a sign of something very serious. If it occurs again, I recommend going to the doctor as soon as possible, either your PCP, an urgent care, or the emergency room. Thank you!
