Dizzy spells: Consult a physician for this symptom. There are various causes of recurrent dizzy spells and your physician will take a thorough history and system review, perform a physical examination and order any appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis. Possibilities include inner ear disorders, abnormal heart rhythm, high or low blood pressure, anemia,etc.

Dizzy spells.: This could be what is called benign positional vertigo which is just that - benign. It is due to little otoliths, or "crystals" which get out of place in the inner ear and cause intermittent dizziness. Of course there are a myriad of other causes such as heart arrhythmias, vestibulo- ocular disorders, anxiety. If the episodes do not get better, I suggest you see your PCP for further evaluation.
