Persistent Cough: Good day;
Consider these other concerns: Any temperature, achiness of body, do you bring up phlegm-is it colored? If you repond positivilly to one or more of these symptoms contact your PCP for appointment and medication.

Possible; talk to do: To better understand the cause of your cough and find a solution, it is best to get in touch with your doctor. If it’s an infection, your doctor may prescribe you a bacterial antibiotic. Cough syrup and lozenges marketed for cough may relieve cough temporarily, but a good rule of thumb is that if you aren’t getting better - and definitely if you’re getting worse, get in touch with your doctor.
