Mgt: The cause of the cough should be determined. If she has nasal congestion, nasal saline rinses may reduce post nasal drip. She should blow her nose when there is drainage. In addition, if she has asthma or wheezing, Albuterol may be indicated. I agree a PCP follow up appointment can be booked.
