Recovery : Your first visit with your surgeon after gallbladder removal should be in 5 to 10 days. If you are not feeling close to yourself, then report your symptoms. Recovery is challenging and has ups and downs. Fever and vomiting green require a call to your surgery care team. Good luck.

Depends.: Some people feel normal the next day. Others take 6 wks or more, even though it is the same operation. Unfortunately, there are also a few people who are not helped by GB removal. Talk to your surgeon about your symptoms so other potential causes can be ruled out if necessary.
