Start in 48 hourse: Brushing after extractions should not begin for 48 hours after the extraction. A premature brushing can dislodge the blood clot within the extraction socket and that can alter the formation of bone within the socket. The change can delay the healing, plus is can alter the quality of the bone within the socket.
