Scheriproct: Are you treating hemorrhoids? Fissure? Perianal dermatitis? Scheriproct shouldn't affect stools very much, but mucus can indicate some rectal inflammation(proctitis). Black pigment may be from blood high up in the gi tract(stomach,duodenum), from iron supplements or medication containing bismuth. See a proctologist for diagnosis and treatment.
