A member asked:

Can bradycardia while sleeping impact someone when they wake up? (usually low to mid 40s) if so, how?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bradycardia at sleep: Bradycardia at sleep in as much as it could be benign especially when there is no a-v dissociation in all stages of sleep ,could be pathological especially where the ventricles of the heart are involved and some medical problems like in obstructive sleep apnea present, need further studies and referral to appropriate doctors. Safe to say if suspected see your doctor for further monitoring.
