Don't Blame A/C: Air conditioning can dry air and cause mild throat/nasal irritation and possibly stimulate some cough. Significant throat pain, severe cough more likely related to allergies or acute upper respiratory infection. Eliminate all allergens/irritants from air, humidify air in room and consider use of antihistamine before bed to limit posterior nasal drip. If increase fever/pain, see physician.
