Sleeping: Your arm symptoms are positional as they only occur while you're lying on your back. This suggests some impingement of nerves at the vertebral area. Sleeping on your side may obviate this problem. Your other complaint is suggestive of sleep apnea and may be worsened by sleeping on your back. If this can't be helped by sleeping on your side, get a sleep study done and a throat examination.
