Im on 75mg of effexor. old bottle says one pill once a day, my new refill bottle says two pills once a day. why is it different and is it too much?

Depends: Although this question is best answered by the doctor who changed the dose, the rule of thumb is that if the condition is not adequately controlled, the dose may have to be adjusted up or downwards. But if your doctor and you agree that your current dose is working well, there is no reason to change.
