Doctor prescribed effexor (venlafaxine) xr and seroquel, take seroquel for sleep. is there any interactions between them? can i take pepto bismol with these pills?

Caution: Effexor (venlafaxine) XR + Seroquel interact to increase risk of irregular heart rhythm, though a rare side effect. Seroquel is an antipsychotic med with many side effects used for serious psychiatric disorders. Please review with prescribing doctor to make sure you understand all side effects and why Seroquel is being used for sleep. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

I completely agree, but with close follow-up with your PCP and / or cardiologist if you have this can be a safe regimen. The key is your doctors working together and everyone communicating!
