Doctor can examine: If a person truly has no reason for a blister that size, especially if the blister is thin-skinned and pops easily, that may be a bacterial skin infection. One's primary care doctor, an Urgent Care doctor, or an Emergency Room doctor can evaluate. If it is a bacterial infection, the patient should start taking antibiotics right away to stop the infection and hopefully prevent blistering elsewhere.
