Be concerned to discover what was in that deodorant so you can avoid contact in the future. Keep this area lubricated with good moisturizer like Eucerin. Some people cannot tolerate the aluminum in anti-perspirants, so avoid those for now. This condition should resolve within a week, if not, ask your doc to examine the axilla for other problems.
