Spotting:13 wks: Occasional spotting can occur at from 8-14 weeks of pregnancy if the placental production of progesterone is not the equivalent of the level produced in the ovary, so when the ovary begins to cease making progesterone (at about 8 wks) a slight drop in progesterone will cause withdrawal bleeding. If this continues, however, see your OB for progesterone supplementation.
