A member asked:

Im seeing a doctor who believes i have ocd but im also concerned i have adhd as well. can these disorders occur together and if so how often?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doesn't matter: The self diagnosis of ADHD is easy when you read though the promotions of drug companies. If you did not have ADHD diagnosed as a kid, it is unlikely it is part of your adult life. Not being able to focus is a common issue. Inadequate restorative sleep, poor nutrition, uncomfortable environment and medical illness (OCD) overlap in causing these symptoms. Adding the label doesn't matter.
