Suspect jaw: Although a neurologic problem may be the issue, I suspect that you have a jaw issue resulting from teeth-grinding and/or dental malocclusion. Have you suffered any trauma to your jaw prior to the onset of the pain (car accident etc)? May need the help of a dentist. In the meanwhile, try eating only soft food and avoid heavy chewing for at least 2 weeks and see if this helps.

Facial pain: You may have a dental issue or perhaps a nerve condition called tri-geminal neuralgia. In any case, please start w/a visit to your primary care doctor. He/she will likely refer you to the proper specialist(s). Peace and good health.
