Ruptured bursa sac in knee. its been a month, range of motion still limited, ankle swells if not elevated. how do i rehab to normal?

Knee bursa: I suspect continuing inflammation of that bursa but ankle edema is unusual unless there is continual leakage of fluid from the bursa running down the leg. I would ask the orthopedic specialist if this is the reason for the ankle edema and ?physical activity limitations. Could there be another process like a Baker's cyst rupture,ankle damage or phlebitis? Should you have an ultrasound of the calf?
