Can an acl or mcl injury limit quadriceps or hamstring range of motion? when trying to kick self in rear, i get pulling in knee that ascends into quads and i cannot bend leg past 90 degrees without complete resistance?

You are correct. The knee joint's range.of motion would be limited by virtue of those injuries. The muscles would still be healthy. but their motions at the knee joint limited because of internal joint dysfunction. Is an orthopedic specialist involved and outlining physical therapy programs for you?
