School issues: In some places the school/teacher can give you as referral to a school psychologist or clinical psychologist so that the student can be properly tested to understand better his/her ability and present education level. You may need to seek such a professional out yourself through your doctor or a county agency. Peace and good health.

An evaluation by an educational psychologist or testing specialist at the school could identify how he learns so he can apply that to the classroom.
