Depends: This depends very much on the nature of his learning difficulites. There are some very specific learning problems that can be coped with more easily compared to a more generalized problem. If his learning difficulties are causing severe problems in multiple areas, then this would be a problem. The answer would also depend on your son's current age - if young, there is time to work on the problems.

Possibly: If you son has learning difficulties but is highly motivated & completes the right types of course, with good grades and good mcat scores - medical schoolmay be an option. However, medical school is really hard under the best of conditions - so it should be his motivation to be a doctor (and not his parents). If he is learning challenged it would make medical school even more difficult for him;.
