Bacteriuria: In a woman, bacteria in the urine is not at all uncommon and usually of no consequence in the absence of infection. In an uncircumcised man this is possible as well. In a circumcised male, urologic evaluation is needed to find a source of bacteria in the urine.

Maybe nothing: If you stick a long needle in the bladder & get urine directly, it usually means an infection. Any other form of collection adds skin surfaces where the germs may add on. A common squat pee collection on a female includes vaginal wash out material. A random collection from an uncircumcised male is commonly contaminated. The number of germs expected in any sample is thus dependent on how collected
