See an Allergist: Allergy specialist can desensitize you to dust, but it is a long & tedious venture. Try to stay in a dust free environment as much as possible.

Many options: Your nasal membranes are the most affected by any airborne allergen. Allergen reduction in the bedroom helps. Encasements for mattress/pillow with routine linen washing helps. Electrostatic air filters & monthly changes of HVAC filters help. Steroid nasal sprays (Pulmicort) help as will nasal wash. A non-sedating antihistamine can help. If all else fails an allergist might have more ideas.

Dust allergy: To reduce exposure to house dust mites (the allergenic component of house dust), minimize carpeting, vacuum frequently and cover mattresses, box springs and pillows in mite-proof encasings. Also wash bed linens weekly in hot water. Air conditioning can reduce humidity that dust mites need to thrive.
