Dust mites?: Dust mites thrive in humid environments and even a few hours of humidity >65% allow them to reproduce. Most people are allergic to their droppings which are most abundant in your bed but also present in any upholstered furniture and carpet. The minimum would be encasing box spring, mattress, pillows, & comfortable in mite-proof encasing. Vacuum carpet and wash sheets once weekly. I
