Likely not serious: Given the short duration of your symptoms, it is likely not serious...perhaps related to overexertion, stress, muscle spasm, even sleep disturbance...but if it continues for more than a week or 2...or if it seems to be getting worse..I’d see a board certified orthopedic hand specialist.
