See a dentist: At a minimum it appears you have gingivitis. You may even have the start of periodontitis. If it has been more than 6 months since your last dental cleaning, it is time you call for an appointment.

Call: Please call your Dentist for an appointment. Bleeding gums may be indicative of inflammatory gum disease (infection), a systemic condition such as diabetes, or a blood dyscrasia. Your Dentist will be able to arrive at a differential diagnosis and help you treat the condition or make the appropriate specialist referral. Brushing cleans 65% of a tooth, the rest has to be flossed.
