Sinus polyp : Sinus mucosa if inflamed will have to fold on itself because of limited space in the sinus cavity. The folded mucosa is called the sinus polyp. If it comes out through the sinus antral hole into the nose it is called a nasal polyp. If the nasal mucosa is boggy and folded it can also be considered a nasal polyp
