Nasal/sinus Polyposi: Hello. I think you are asking if the polyps within the maxillary and sphenoid sinuses are due to the medications Xyzal and Nasonex. The answer is no, the polyps do not arise from using these medications. In fact both are helpful to reduce the polyp burden within the nose and sinuses. I’m assuming you have had an imaging study to identify these polyps. See your ENT for further evaluation.

Confusing post: Are you asking if the polyps cause sphenoid SINUSITIS, an infection ? The post says sphenoid sinus, but does not make this clear and it otherwise makes little sense.
