A member asked:

If someone caught mrsa or normal staph infection from a hospital, in how many days will lesion or abscess occur? do you always get boils if you came in contact with mrsa or normal staph like touching anything infected with it?

MRSA: MRSA on your body doesn't necessarily result in infection. This would be called colonization without infection. The body is able to prevent invasivesness by the bacteria in some cases. While up to 30% of people have staph colonizing nose or skin, less than 2% have MRSA colonization.
