MRSA: MRSA on your body doesn't necessarily result in infection. This would be called colonization without infection. The body is able to prevent invasivesness by the bacteria in some cases. While up to 30% of people have staph colonizing nose or skin, less than 2% have MRSA colonization.

I've had recurring boils on buttocks. After using benzoyl peroxide daily and Hibiclens weekly, they're mostly gone. But occasionally I'll get one or two. Could it be MRSA or is it more likely normal Staph? If MRSA, should I worry or do something else?
