A member asked:

Hi, i have been having lower back pain. it varies from a dull burning to a sharp pain depending on how i move (pain is more to the right). do i go direct to a chiro or a gp first? i was at a chiro a month ago, but it hasn't seemed to solve it fully.

More info: Does the pain radiate to your legs? Do you have previous back issues like bulging discs? Any fever, urination problems, numbness or tingling? If it is muscular related especially with tenderness when you press on the muscle then start with rest and ice for a few days then slowly begin stretching. Drink lots of water and take nsaids if needed only as directed.
