What's causing sev. burning sen. between my spine & rt shoulder blade? i see chiro weekly better for 1-2days then pain is right back please help

Probably neck issue: See a board certified orthopaedic surgeon (fellowship in spine surgery a plus) to get a thorough exam and imaging. Higher cervical spine problems can cause such symptoms (c3, 4, 5) or you could have a winging of your scapula. Only a good exam and experienced doctor can help. Neck Facet pain: I agree with others that your pain originates in the neck. I believe that comes from inflammation of the facet joints. Treatment with the use of an anti-inflammatory such as advil or aleve (naproxen) and possibly a facet joint block with cortisone may be required.
