A member asked:

I had a chest xray. what does" impression mild congestion mild prominence of the central bronchovascular markings'..mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing important: When an X-ray is submitted for a professional review by the radiologist we expect them to say something. This is as close to nothing as there can be. They could have said there is no defined areas that would suggest "X" or whatever the ordering doc was looking to rule out, but this is close. It could easily mean the patient did not take a deep breath.
