A member asked:

My 4yr old was diagnosed with igg2 and igg4 subclass deficiency, does it mean that she did not produce antibodies when she was vaccinated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Of the four types of IgG, IgG 1 is made in the largest amount and the child may have made sufficient protective antibody of the IgG 1 class. Wish you and your daughter good health!
