A member asked:

Why does a patient have an immune deficiency if making antibodies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Immune Deficiency: Why do we get high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, arthritis? It just happens. Plus, quantity of antibodies does not mean quality. There is much more to simply just an antibody level that allows an immunologist to diagnose an immune deficiency. If you question the diagnosis, seek a 2nd opinion.
