Get seen now!: One red eye, especially in a contact lens user can be a serious problem, it could be due to serious infection, even an ulcer on your cornea or corneal swelling. Please go to your eye doc, your primary care doc, an Urgent care center, eye doctor, or Emergency Room, right away, whoever can see you immediately. You are right to not put your contacts in till this is addressed.
