CTL related issue: Your description is non-specfic and could indicate a corneal infection related to your contact lenses. Other issues such as eye surface irritation for dry eye or contact lens overwear can cause similar symptoms but i would recommend seeing an eye doctor as soon as possible for further evaluation.

Exam time: Go to your eye doc and have an exam. Since you wear contact lenses there may have been something developing which has caused your eye to be irritated and tearing. You may have a contact lens associted keratitis, infection, epithelial defect, or intraocular inflammation. I'm glad you discontinued your contacts, now call your eye doc for exam today.
