Take it easy!: If you fell and landed on that same knee, it is still healing. Since you can do most things without pain, it's likely not a serious injury but it is still injured. Give it another week to finish healing, & if you still have pain then get seen to see if there's more extensive damage to your knee. For now, if an activity hurts, don't do it. Pain means you are aggravating the injury delaying healing

LOCATION: The bruise and the the pain when squatting are likely unrelated. Anterior knee pain is common with squats and is due to chondromalacia patellae (softening of the cartilage and stress) If the pain gets worse as you work out, then see an orthopedic sports doctor. If the pain eases as you get warmed up...it’s likely something that will resolve with Ice & anti-inflammatories.
