Tough to say: It's difficult to say. Sometimes, depending on the size of the needle and expertise of the phlebotomist - the bruising can be worse after a blood draw. If you are bruising easily otherwise or having a lot of bleeding when you brush your teeth - this can be a sign of low platelets which help typically prevent bleeding.
