My 2 week old baby cries when she needs to pass a stool. her stools look a little clayie but still somewhat runny. how can i help her with the pain and discomfort. she tries after every feed. she is on breastfeeding only.

Not unusual: Babies have weak abdominal muscles & often use their breathing muscle to help poop. They don't have gravity to help but poop laying flat. They may fuss during the process but this is not necessarily a sign of pain. If you want to soften the stools you could try full strength prune juice 1-2X/d, but the kid is probably fine.
