Persistent Diarrhea: Your breast-fed 5 month old has a history of diarrhea and taking antibiotics. She continues to have abnormal stools. Your baby should continue breast-feeding and close observation by your doctor is important. The initial illness combined with antibiotics can prolong your baby's recovery. Monitoring for a chronic condition or additional diagnoses will be required until the stools normalize.

Loose green stoolnor: Most of breastfed babies have loose green stool , the stool become normal when you weane him from breast feeding and he takes formula and solid foods .
