Probably unrelated: Contact the General Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon who removed your tooth and ask your question. They are responsible for your post-surgical care. But problems are probably coincidental and not related.

Consult your Dentist: The wound needs to be checked to make sure you are healing well. And you don't have dry socket. Usually the area of extraction would hurt more if there was any problem.
