Normally: Between 70 to 110. Some doctors would like the blood sugar to be 105.

Glucoses: Less than 100 fasting is normal. Fasting glucose between 100-125 are indicative of impaired fasting glucose. 2 hr post prandial glucose between 140-199 are indicative of impaired glucose tolerance. Both of these are prediabetic states. >= 126 fasting is diabetes.
