Male mammogram: Yes, please get your friend to follow up as directed by his doctor. The situation may be his normal but it is good to rule out other possibilities from time to time. peace and good health.

Possibilities: Is it breast or the breast muscle underneath ? There is a rare condition where the pectoral muscle on one side does not develop/does so poorly. There is the potential breast enlargement on one or both sides during puberty that usually disappears within 2-3 yrs.You then have the exceedingly rare potential for breast cancer in men. A re-evaluation by someone with experience in these issues is needed
