Contact DDS: See your dentist and a possible referral to an orthodontist. Question is unclear, primary canines were extracted and permanent canines are problematic? Have a clinical and radiographic examination by your dentist to start.

Stuck canines: I assume it was over-retained baby canines that were removed and the permanent canines have not fully erupted. They may be ankylosed (fused to bone), there may be insufficient room, they may have lost their eruptive potential. Please schedule an appointment with a specialist Orthodontist for an Initial Orthodontic Examination (usually free) to discuss your malocclusion and treatment options.
