A member asked:

My boyfriend is havin abdominal pain. he it feels like its cramping. what should he do. he went to the hospital before but they said nothing's wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can recheck: Abdominal pain can be from "acid" pains, such as a stomach ulcer, just gastritis, or reflux (heartburn). Infection with H. pylori bacteria can lead to stomach ulcer pains. Needs more evaluation by his primary care doctor. Heart disease, rib and cartilage problems, pancreatitis, gallstones, various cancers, kidney stones, appendicitis, diverticulitis, constipation, etc., can cause abdominal pain.
